Meet the Team

Our two principals have over 65 combined years of corporate marketing experience. We’ve done marketing for healthcare systems, manufacturing, transportation, education, chemical companies, titanium and steel and many more industries.

Charlie Sylak

Partner

Charlie’s interest in marketing communications began while serving as a Public Relations intern with UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital while a student at Duquesne University. Following graduation, he joined the Corporate Communications Department at Westinghouse Electric Corporation. Following Westinghouse, he joined Shasta Holdings Company as Vice President where he oversaw corporate administrative functions, including strategic planning, finance, business development and HR.

During the same time, Charlie worked at Levy Marketing Group in Pittsburgh developing marketing campaigns for Kennametal, US Liner Corporation, Olson Furnace, and Heritage Valley Health System. He has also helped the Beaver County Chamber of Commerce with their rebranding effort and developed marketing strategies for the 376 Partnership and its successor organization, the Beaver County Partnership.

Scott Monit

Partner

Scott has spent over 25 years in corporate marketing and leadership. He has worked in the healthcare, transportation, chemical and
education industries during this span, both nationally and internationally. He specializes in both strategic and tactical marketing for customers large and small. Scott has a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Dayton and a Master’s of Business Administration from
Point Park University. Scott is married with three adult children. He is also an avid runner and golfer and loves to travel with his wife.
